Personalised learning: A differentiated approach to assessment and feedback — WEA

Summary

This Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA) project, delivered in 2016 - 2017, was led by WEA (the Workers’ Educational Association) Yorkshire and Humber Region, with Swarthmore Education Centre and Kirklees Local Authority. The project brought the partners’ tutors together to explore new teaching, learning and assessment approaches. Key elements were: evidence-based practice, Further education Professional Standards, peer visits from tutors in related subjects as part of a ‘learning triangle’, joint practice development sessions, and, undertaking a supported experiment.
